Rusklimat, a leading supplier of air conditioning equipment in the Russian market, selected LVS

Rusklimat is a leading Russian company that provides its clients with a full range of equipment and professional services in air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and water supply systems. The company’s warehouse has an area of 18,000 sq.m., a capacity of 29,800 pallet spaces, and 3,500 cells in the individual storage zone. In addition to serving the company’s own storage needs, it provides merchandise safe custody services.

In selecting the software product for warehouse management and the product implementation provider, Rusklimat primarily focused on evaluating the system’s flexibility, including the possibility of using built – in system features to quickly set up individual business processes for each of the warehouse’s safe custody services clients. In addition to the system characteristics, the client considered the experience of the integration services provider with major WMS systems implementation projects in the Russian market. Logistics Vision Suite by ant Technologies was selected as the system which not only meets all of the functional requirements of a distribution and logistics business, but also demonstrates its advantages in practice – at the moment, the system is successfully managing warehouse complexes at a number of major Russian 3PL operators and distributors.

The project entailed implementation of the system’s basic Warehouse Vision module, the Yard Management module, and the billing module. The system is designed to organize efficient management of warehouse operations by providing the leadership and warehouse personnel with a powerful set of management tools. The system takes into account the requirements of the company and its customers for handling a wide range of various merchandises inside the warehouse. It ensures that the required benchmarks are met for productivity and order fulfillment accuracy, and minimizes the processing cost per unit of merchandise. The system has been installed at 40 workstations and there are plans to integrate it with the 1C accounting system.
