Five top Supply Chain Awards for Mantis
The reviewing committee of Supply Chain Awards 2023 in Greece honored Mantis for recent state-of-the-art implementations of WMS Logistics Vision Suite (LVS) and native integration with Autostore AS/RS system and Voice Picking, as well as Mantis LVS Warehouse Control System (WCT).
The Supply Chain Awards promote the best practices and innovative solutions implemented in the Greek Logistics sector every year. In this year’s ceremony, held in Athens on June 13th, Mantis, leading international WMS/ Logistics software vendor, received 5 top awards, including the highest distinction of the Platinum Award amongst all candidacies, reflecting its market leadership and commitment to logistics excellence.
Mantis and its client, Info Quest Technologies (IQT), leading provider of the ICT Greek market representing more than 200 international brands in the B2B, B2C and e-Commerce sales channels, were awarded both with Platinum Award in the category “Best Logistics Practices in Retail & Manufacturing” and Gold Award in the category “Automations and Industry 4.0 in the Supply Chain”. The nomination regarded the innovative Autostore goods-to-person installation automated by WMS LVS, in IQT’s new Logistics Park in Aspropyrgos-Attica, one of the biggest recent logistics investments in Greece.
Mantis LVS Warehouse Control Tower (WCT) scored very high, winning the Gold Award in the category “Telematic Services and Software Equipment”. Mantis has developed its own, proprietary technology for LVS WCT, a centralized management system designed to supervise and optimize all warehouse operations (automated and manual) such as receipt, storage, picking, order execution, loading, etc., as well as inventory levels, by providing real-time data and valuable insights for optimal business decision-making.
The benefits of the Voice-Picking technology solution natively integrated by WMS LVS in the 3PL sector were acknowledged by the reviewing committee which awarded the Silver Award of the category “Warehouse equipment, software systems and services for 3PLs and freight forwarders” to Mantis and its client Sarmed, leading company in the Greek 3PL market. Mantis and Sarmed were awarded for the implementation of WMS LVS and Voice-Picking solution at the deep freeze warehouse serving Sarmed’s depositor/client “Pescanova“, an internationally established brand in the seafood industry.
This was not the only Silver Supply Chain Award for Mantis: The high-demanding project of WMS LVS implementation at Avramar, an internationally leading brand of fish farming in the Mediterranean Sea and distribution, climbed to the top of the candidates’ list in the category “Supply Chain Excellence in vertical sectors”. The project was implemented in ex-Nireus Aquaculture, a historic Greek company that was later, merged with Avramar.
