Dedeman, the leading DIY retailer in Romania is managing its Supply Chain operations with LVS

Mantis, a leading European WMS / logistics software and solutions vendor, announced today that it has been named as the preferred Warehouse Management Solution provider for Dedeman, the biggest Romanian Do-It-Yourself Retailer.

Dedeman is the largest and most dynamic DIY retailer in Romania operating 41 megastores, with more than 45,000 SKUs. Dedeman strives to offer to both its retail and professional customers a full range of products for their home improvements and DIY projects. To support its retail expansion Dedeman needed to transform its logistics operations replacing the current paper based ones with a modern state-of-the art real time Warehouse Management Solution (WMS).

The major goals Dedeman‘s management set for the choice of the new system are to improve inventory accuracy, transparency in all warehouse operations, ability to manage more than 100,000 SKUs, manage cross docking operations, integrate more than 400 suppliers, etc. For this purpose, Dedeman selected Mantis Logistics Vision Suite as the solution that provides all necessary tools and functionality to support today’s logistics operations in both distribution centers and store warehouses as well as its intensive expansion plan.
