We are seeking a highly driven, hands-on & passionate Finance Director, who will be responsible for all Mantiscountries in Europe, Middle East & North America and will lead our local Finance & Accounting team. If you like making an impact, this is a great opportunity for you.

The position reports to the ecovium Group CFO.

Job description:

  • Establish a high-scale and efficient Finance Department.
  • Execute and support the organization to achieve its strategic goals.
  • Implementation, monitoring and continuous use of best practices and procedures for the execution and coordination of the operations of the Finance Department.
  • Study and analysis of the evolution of the financial figures of the organization and prompt advice to all levels of Management to take the appropriate measures and actions to prevent risks and take advantage of opportunities in the economic environment, as to ensure the profitability and development of the Company.
  • Organization and coordination of the timely preparation of all financial statements, KPIs, studies, reports etc.
  • Supervision of the proper operation of the Mantis Accounting and Financial Department.
  • Monitoring and management of the Company’s cash-flows, including rolling 13-week cash-forecast and the Organization ‘s debt obligations.
  • Monitoring of financial data and drawing up of periodical reports within the prescribed deadlines which will be set to this end.
  • Preparing and monitoring the course of the annual budget/rolling forecast/planning.
  • Supervisory control of payroll and labor/insurance issues of the Company.
  • Management of the Finance &Accounting Department team and providing the necessary support and guidance for its members to achieve their department’s goals.
  • Control of the financial data in the reports submitted by other company departments and countries. Approval and proposal of modifications / support and guidance to the remaining departments of the Company, with the aim of maximizing the return of each investment and increasing productivity.
  • Representation of the Company in meetings with banks and local auditors.
  • Close collaboration with the global Finance team at Headquarter.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration, Master’s degree will be an asset.
  • Needs to have signature rights under Greek law.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of a Finance Planning & Control experience in a managerial position, preferably in an international corporate environment at a software company.
  • A good knowledge of applicable accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts) from a statutory and consolidation perspective and understanding of related risks in the applicable financial statement areas.
  • Financial modelling skills and understanding of valuation methods applicable to corporates.
  • Excellent financial and business analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Team building mentality along with strong leadership skills.
  • Self-starter combining strategic and hands-on approach, with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, proactive, well organized, multitask, and manage time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
