We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team! As a SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. Additionally, develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports to enhance organizational productivity.

Job Description:

  • Manage SQL Server databases
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Monitor the health and performance of the product
  • Database performance tuning
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
  • Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Provide suggestions for solutions
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
  • Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
  • Research required data
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and suggest new queries if needed
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Provide timely scheduled management reporting
  • Ensure Data Security
  • Develop processes for optimizing database security
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
  • Provide 24×7 support for critical production systems

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Three to five years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
  • Three to five years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • Three to five years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
  • Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, as well as performance monitoring standards
