We are seeking a highly driven & passionate HR Manager who will be based in Athens and will be responsible for the Mantis countries of the ecovium Group (Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Poland, Romania, US, Canada). The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable with both day-to-day HR operations and strategic business partnering responsibility.

The role holder will work closely with Mantis’ leadership team and will play an important role in shaping and implementing the Group HR strategy across the Mantis countries.

Job description:
  • Manage and implement an integrated HR strategy for the company, ensuring the alignment of core values and key competencies across all the HR activities, policies and processes, as well as alignment with Group HR strategy & initiatives. Act as an internal coach and facilitator to drive cultural cohesion and assist leaders in building a company culture that is in line with the organization’s values and objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
  • Respond to talent acquisition needs; develop and execute best practices for talent mining and talent management, manage the talent acquisition process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding in all Mantis countries.
  • Facilitate Engagement Surveys & coach line management regarding Engagement Surveys results’ interpretation and Action Plans design within their teams.
  • Champion a performance culture, facilitating all Performance & Bonus Scheme strategic processes across Mantis countries and providing performance management coaching, guidance & training to line management, including the design of Performance Improvement Plans where needed.
  • Assisting line Managers to develop and implement Training Plans relevant to the needs of the business, facilitate and boost the Group’s Learning Academy utilization.
  • Propose and implement employee retention strategies.
  • Maintain & provide HR metrics and monthly targets overview to the Mantis Management team, responsible for the monthly HR Mantis reporting to Group HR leadership.
  • Contribute along with local Country leads to the Benefits policies decisions across Mantis countries investigating local markets and vendors and providing matching solutions to local needs aligned with the global Mantis benefits strategy.
  • Handle all Employment Law related cases, including designing and implementing new policies across countries as per employment law relevant changes.
  • Develop and monitor the HR budget and report on current and future
    staffing costs and initiatives.
  • Manage all HR vendors conducting procurement processes and investigating the most fitting market solution across all Mantis countries.
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
  • Review, update and maintain HR policies, systems, procedures and guidelines.
Experience, knowledge & skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in the field of Human Resources.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, out of which at least 2 years of experience in an HR leadership role, preferably within a matrix environment & global organization working closely with senior leaders, including the General Manager.
  • Proven success in executing HR strategy and in developing local HR plans in line with the national business plan priorities.
  • Very good employment law knowledge, especially as applies in Greece, employment law knowledge for any other of the Mantis countries is considered an important asset.
  • Experience in project and change management, both influencing the change and implementing initiatives.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multi-task, and coordinate with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including presentation and training/facilitation skills.
  • Team player who is cooperative with the sharing of information and knowledge.
  • Excellent command of the Greek & the English language, German language knowledge will be appreciated.
  • HR Experience in the Technology Sector and HR leadership/business partnering experience with multiple countries is a key asset.
